Emergence
Every landscape hides countless untold stories…
As night descends, the giant trees in Hyde Park South are illuminated. Faces emerge from the leaves and branches, revealing lives – past and present – linked to this beautiful green space in the centre of our city. The effect is haunting. As the branches sway, these ephemeral 3D monuments shift and change, responding to the park and its history.
Emergence is presented in collaboration with the Australian Museum.
